WIT@Work: retaining women in tech careers

Only 24% of computing jobs are held by women. This number is even lower at the executive level with women holding only 5% of the leadership positions in the technology industry. Through tech talks, workshops, and networking events we are committed to making Wisconsin the state with the highest percentage of women in the tech workforce.

Our WIT@Work program offers:

• Virtual Series: Engage in online webinars highlighting various technology trends and topics of interest designed to enhance your skills and knowledge from the comfort of your home.
• In-Person Events: Participate in networking sessions, conferences, and hands-on workshops that bring together women in tech from across regions in Wisconsin. 
• Social Events: Connect and build relationships with fellow professionals in a relaxed, informal setting through our various social gatherings. 
• Brand Ambassadors Group: This group is comprised of delegates from our Corporate Sponsors that champion WIT Wisconsin's mission within their organization, helping to spread our mission and values across the community.
