WIT Wisconsin is a proud partner of Savvy Cyber Kids, a nonprofit organization helping parents and teachers educate children in cyber safety, cyber ethics and other aspects of their daily tech lives.
Growing Up in the Digital Age Today’s youth are growing up in a world that encourages a deep involvement with technology, influencing their everyday, even moment to moment, activities. Yet these same children are oftentimes unsupervised and unprepared to play safely on the digital playground—where they can very easily make bad and potentially dangerous decisions. You Can HelpSavvy Cyber Kids’ Women in Technology Volunteer Program brings volunteers into Wisconsin schools (virtually or in person) to help young children learn about personal internet safety, bully response, technology balance, digital reputation and privacy. As a Savvy Cyber Kids volunteer, you can help us reach more schools and teach children about how to stay safe online. To get started, it's as easy as: 1.
