About this virtual event:
This virtual, members only session is designed for WIT Wisconsin members who are interested in hosting a WIT4Girls event in Southeast Wisconsin but are not sure where to start. Rather than focusing on detailed activity facilitation, this session is centered on building confidence and clarity around what it means to lead a local WIT4Girls event.
We will walk through what a WIT4Girls event really looks like, what support is available to event leads, and how flexible and simple hosting can be. Participants will reflect on their community, explore event ideas, and hear examples of how other volunteers have successfully stepped into this role.
By the end of the session, attendees will have a clear understanding of the event lead role and the opportunity to sign up to host a WIT4Girls event in their community, with support throughout the process. No prior experience is required.
