About the Speaker: Kathy Fredrickson
Meet Kathy Fredrickson, a trailblazer in digital marketing education and the dynamic Director of the Wisconsin SBDC Digital Marketing Clinic. As a teaching professor at UW Oshkosh, Kathy has empowered over 1,000 students with comprehensive knowledge in digital marketing, analytics, audience measurement, and social media marketing. Her guidance has propelled nationally recognized student teams in the American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition.
In 2021, Kathy founded the Digital Marketing Clinic, where 29 student consultants have dedicated over 6,600 hours to assist more than 400 businesses across 52 Wisconsin counties, supporting over 4,100 jobs. Her professional journey includes leading roles in advertising and running her own consulting firm since 2004.
Kathy co-founded Women in Technology-Wisconsin in 2015 alongside her college roommate, Michelle Schuler of Microsoft. She's also shared her expertise through workshops at the Americas SBDC National Conference, the Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé program, and the Stukent Digital Marketing Educators Summit.
