About this virtual event:

This session explores the professional and personal power that can come from embracing uncertainty. Chelsea Doman, Sr Manager of IT Program Management at Sargento Foods, will share her journey as a real-life Hermione Granger, unknowingly building her identity and career around always having the solutions.

Through her personal stories of self-discovery, leading through burnout, and trying to excel in a 'technical, male-dominated world as a non-technically trained girl', Chelsea will talk about how she learned that being an outsider was actually her superpower for building bridges.

This session will speak to protecting your emotional currency, savoring the unfolding, and turning the unknown into a powerful opportunity. Participants will walk away with a fresh perspective on how Leaning into Not Knowing can make them stronger collaborators, lead more effectively, and show up more authentically.

About the Expert:

Chelsea Doman

For nearly 30 years, Chelsea has held leadership roles in Data and IT operations across various industries including automotive, oil & gas, and education. Fueled by a steady supply of cheese and her love of creating systems that help people thrive, she is the Senior Manager of IT Program Management at Sargento Foods.

Chelsea is passionately committed to building community and has served on multiple Boards of Directors, most recently for the Graduate Business Student Association at the University of Illinois, where she earned her Master of Business Administration in 2024. As an undergrad, she originally had dreams of Broadway but instead graduated with a BA in Linguistics and Teaching ESL from Brigham Young University.

Despite being a night owl, Chelsea didn’t make it to any of the midnight launches of the Harry Potter books, but she did insist her four children read all seven before they watched any of the movies. She thinks the audiobooks are the best way to enjoy the series and solemnly swears that her youngest son—George Frederick—is absolutely not named for the Weasley twins.

We're excited to welcome Michaela Boelter from Nortera Foods, who will kick off the morning with an engaging discussion on how precision technology and drone technology are transforming modern agriculture. In recognition of the International Year of the Woman Farmer, Michaela will share how innovation is driving smarter, more sustainable farming while creating exciting opportunities across the industry.
